Real homes, not loud restaurants

A dinner in a Toronto home where you can actually hear each other. Hosts set the menu, the guest limit and the house rules.

Approved first, then you pay

The host approves every guest. You pay securely by card only after they say yes, with no booking fees on top of their price.

Address after you're confirmed

The exact address is shared only once your spot is confirmed. Before the host approves, the map shows only the general area, never the building.

How it works

How it will work, once we open

Find your evening

When DinnTRO launches, you'll find dinners, house parties and social events near you on the map or in your feed. A match badge will show why one fits your taste.

Request a spot

You'll send the host a request. Nothing is charged at this step: the host sees your request first and decides who joins the table.

Pay after the host approves

Once the host says yes, you'll pay securely by card, at the host's price with no booking fee.

Your payment will be held in escrow until after the event. Free events will be confirmed as soon as the host approves.

Get the address, meet your table

Your booking will be confirmed and the address revealed. The group chat with the host and other guests will open, and the rest happens at the table.

Bring a friend, once we launch

When we launch, bring a friend: 1,000 Dcoins each when they attend their first event. You'll also get 50 Dcoins when you sign up in the app. Dcoins are reward points you can use toward event bookings. Until then, send this page to the friend you'd want next to you at the table.

When does DinnTRO launch?

We haven't announced a launch date yet. DinnTRO is coming soon on iOS & Android, and nothing can be booked before then. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it's time.

Is it safe?

Safety is built into how you book. We know who's hosting: hosts upload their ID and a selfie for every event, and our team reviews them. DinnTRO is for adults 21+, and the host approves every guest. The exact address is shared only once your spot is confirmed; before the host approves, the map shows only the general area. You can report or block anyone from their profile, and our moderation team reviews reports.

What does it cost?

The app is free. For an event, you pay the price the host sets, with no added booking fee, and only after the host approves your request.

You'll pay securely by card, in your local currency.

Your payment is held in escrow until after the event. Free events are confirmed as soon as the host approves. Each host sets their own cancellation policy, and refunds and disputes are handled by the DinnTRO team.

Can I host instead?

Yes. We're signing up hosts now, before we open to guests. If you'd rather host a dinner, a house party or a social event, apply at dinntro.com/host.
